King Arthur

This is not a very good film. If, like me, enjoy the traditional legend of King Arthur, Camelot and the knights of the round table then do not expect that here.

This is another version of how the legend of King Arthur could have been. It is in the early Roman times, when governed Britain and King Arthur is to serve the Romans to maintain control of ancient England.

The alternative version might have been a new twist on a classic legend, but fails miserably. The acting is wooden, especially be Clive Owen as King Arthur, which is particularly bad.

Keira Knightly as Geneva is not far behind him in the face of poor quality. I liked some of the gentlemen and some of the battle scenes were good and reminded me a bit of Braveheart. But if it’s a bad movie not worth more than two stars.

I would advise against putting this movie on your list.

Clive Owen. Would it be decent to have a pop at Liam Neeson yet?
